Real Estate and Property Management at the University at Buffalo is responsible for acquiring and selling real property holdings of the university.

Functional Services

  • Supports the university’s mission as a premier, research intensive public institution by identifying properties of interest that will help define and improve campus growth on and around all campuses, manage existing properties, and work with our partners and tenants to create the best environments possible
  • Leasing and property management for University at Buffalo and affiliates
  • Manages the leasing and facility coordination for StartUp New York
  • Works with UB contract services and SUNY counsel to initiate and finalize revocable permits, facility use agreements and leases.
  • New property acquisition
  • Capital project coordination
  • Financial strategies for revenue generating properties
  • Coordination with campus operation entities that include but not limited to University Facilities, Procurement Services, Parking and Transportation, Public Safety, Food Services, Information Technology, University at Buffalo Foundation, campus partners
  • Assist in long-range physical and land planning
