UB's Amazon Business account is accessible through ShopBlue punchout, using state, Research Foundation or UB Foundation Procurement Cards.

An independent contractor is a person who is contracted to perform services without having the legal status of an employee. Requests for these services using sponsored and non-sponsored Research Foundation (RF) funds are submitted through Research Foundation Human Resources to determine classification as an independent contractor.  Payment for independent contractors is processed through the ShopBlue e-Procurement System.

Purchase your computers, software, hardware and other IT related supplies and peripherals through recommended suppliers. 

UB encourages you to buy cleaning and janitorial supplies for your building, office or department from sustainable businesses that provide environmentally preferable products.

With approval of the appropriate dean, vice president, or their designee, employees may receive a department-owned mobile communication device or allowance to offset the cost of a personally-owned mobile communication device and related services.

SUNY has a strategic contract with W.B. Mason for office supplies, such as staplers, pens, pencils, paper, sticky pads, and paper clips, among other items. 

Any use of the University at Buffalo name, logos or marks by all campus departments and student groups for promotional items, novelties, apparel or any reprints of those items must have prior approval from the UB Trademarks and Licensing office. Any environmental branding such as displays, banners, graphics and signage must follow environmental branding guidelines and the branding review process prior to trademark approval.

Faculty and staff should use our contracted supplier for their digital studio portrait photography needs, to receive best pricing and to ensure that the portraits meet university brand standards.
