There are various types of card programs to facilitate your work-related purchasing, travel and research human subject payment needs.

Available Card Programs

  • Procurement Card (PCard) Program
    The Procurement Card (PCard) is an efficient and cost-effective method of purchasing and payment for small-dollar purchases. Cardholders can make authorized purchases directly from a supplier without processing the traditional paperwork. 
  • Prepaid Debit Cards for Research Participants
    The Prepaid Debit Card program has been developed to allow researchers to pay their participants using a prepaid visa card.
  • Prepaid Debit Cards for Students and Third-Parties
    This program allows departments to pay for qualifying student and other third-party (non-employee) travel, gifts, prizes and awards using a prepaid Visa card.
  • Non-Employee Travel (NET) Card
    Use the NET Card for airfare and Amtrak expenses incurred by non-employees of UB (candidates, guest speakers) while traveling on official UB business. Expenses are billed directly to your state account.
