Use FedEx for your small package departmental inbound and outbound shipping needs. Invoicing will be managed centrally on a consolidated bill and any UB account can be used when creating a shipment including State, Research Foundation (RF) and UB Foundation (UBF).
The university has set in place multiple FedEx accounts for many departments, however if your department is in need of a FedEx departmental account please e-mail the following information to UBConsolidatedBilling@buffalo.edu :
Many users can be tied to the same departmental FedEx account. In order to request a new user to be added to your existing FedEx account please e-mail the below information to UBConsolidatedBilling@buffalo.edu :
Once the new user is set up they will receive a welcome e-mail with their login information and helpful links.
All billings will be processed through a consolidated billing process through Business Services. Any UB Account can be used when creating a shipment, this includes State, Research Foundation (RF) or UB Foundation (UBF) accounts.
To ensure that the correct UB Account number is charged you may add it in Step 4 of the shipment process.
