UB and Buffalo Public Schools launched Buffalo's first university-assisted high school at the Research Lab High School. The idea was inspired by UB's Genome Day at the Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences where nearly 400 BPS students extracted their own DNA. BEP's own Sandra Small, Senior Manager of Science Education and Workforce Development, serves on the planning committee.
