POP Biotechnologies—a UB spinoff biotech company founded by Jonathan Lovell, SUNY Empire Innovation Professor in the department of Biomedical Engineering—has partnered with Osaka-based Japanese partner FunPep.
The partnership combines FunPep's antibody-inducing peptides with POP BIO’s SNAP™ platform to enhance the production of high levels of therapeutic antibodies in patients.

We have been impressed with their innovative approach to develop new medicines. This next phase of the collaboration could generate data that would justify human clinical trials.” said POP BIO co-founder Jonathan Lovell.
