Plant-based dairy startup plans hiring and expansion in Buffalo

As reported by The Buffalo News, Buffalo Business First, and others, Edenesque, a plant-based dairy products startup participating in UB's Cultivator program, received a $175K investment from Launch NY as it prepares to relocate its headquarters to Buffalo and expand into more stores and restaurants.

Leslie Woodward founded the company in 2014 after spending more than 20 years as a chef in New York City. Edenesque produces almond and oat milks that are gluten-free, vegan with no thickeners or stabilizers. The products will hit the shelves at Whole Foods this summer, and Edenesque will begin sales and marketing efforts in the Western New York area.
