PhysicianX, a Buffalo-based startup supported by UB Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships, hopes to make the health care job market easier for both new doctors and their future employers through its artificial intelligence platform tailored to the field.
Founded in 2023 by Dr. Irfan Khan, the founder of Circuit Clinical and a former electrophysiologist, the company’s generative AI platform will help new physicians find their first job.
Typically, residents work where they do their residencies, which leads to high turnover rates because physicians are not placed in their ideal job.
PhysicianX’s platform provides a more personalized job search, allowing candidates to consider factors like where they want to live or what type of medicine they want to practice.
The company currently operates out of UB's Incubator @ CBLS with support from START-UP NY.
