UB has identified UB standard configurations that include a 3-year AppleCare warranty and is supported by UBIT. You can purchase other Apple products such as the MacBook Air, MacPro, iPads, Apple software, and other Apple accessories through the CDW-G ShopBlue Punchout catalog.

UB 2020 workstation standards are now available through the CDW-G punchout catalog in ShopBlue. You do not need to register for an account with CDW-G when shopping directly through ShopBlue.
Not all brands and types of notebooks, desktops and tablets can be easily supported by the campus IT staff. Contact your information technology support staff for assistance. Find the support staff for your unit, department or academic area.
Once you have registered your Apple ID using your UB email address, you will need to link it to UB Stores 74361 or 804750. Apple will approve your request and will send you a confirmation email within 1-3 business days.
Register your Apple ID with both stores 74361 (for eReq) and 804750 (for PCard). Make sure you know your method of purchase at the time of creating the proposal.
To purchase Apple products from the UB Apple Store with a purchase order, you have to create a proposal that you will attach to a requisition. All purchase orders are submitted directly to Apple and are shipped to a campus-only location. Off-campus locations are not permitted.

The Apple Retail Store in the Walden Galleria does not accept purchase orders. You must use your Procurement Card for in-store tax-exempt purchases.
