UB Remote Desktop Gateway retires March 23 - connect to UB VPN

The UB Remote Desktop Gateway service is retiring March 23, 2026. Students, faculty, and staff can connect to UB VPN with their devices to access important UB services off campus.

Looking to connect a device to the UB Devices or UB Connect networks at UB? Make sure to turn off the Private Wi-Fi Address setting first to prevent you from having to continuously re-register your device.

eduroam Wi-Fi is coming to UB shuttle buses in spring 2026

This fall, eduroam access is continuing to expand as Wi-Fi will soon be added to UB’s public transportation system, coming to the smaller shuttles and later the larger Stampede buses.
