Applies to: iOS 11.3.1 and higher

1. Tap Settings
   • iPhone: Scroll down to Mail
   • iPad: Scroll down to Accounts & Passwords
2. Tap Add Account.
3. Choose Microsoft Exchange.
4. Enter your email address, and configure the Description however you would like (default is Exchange).
5. Tap next, and you will get a prompt to Configure Manually, or to Sign In. Choose Sign In*
6. You will be redirected to a Microsoft site where you will enter your email.
7. A UB-branded site will open, enter your UBIT password.
8.  Authenticate with Duo.
   
9. Once the authentication is completed, it should bring you to the data you want to sync. Be sure to UNCHECK the Contacts option, as this might overwrite your iPhone contacts.
10. Tap next, and adding the mailbox should be complete.

* If you receive the error,  "Exchange Account - Unable to verify account information" after clicking Sign in, try the following steps:

1. Open a web browser
2. Go to login.microsoftonline.com
3. Sign out
4. Return to the mail set up

Applies to: iOS 11.3.1 and higher

1. Download the Outlook app from the App Store (if necessary)
2. Open the app
3. Enter your UB email address (ubitname@buffalo.edu)
4. Tap Add Account
5. At the UB sign-in screen, enter your UBITName password
6. Tap Sign in
7. Complete Duo two-step verification (if you are sending a push to your Duo-enabled smartphone, this will mean exiting the Outlook mail setup, opening Duo app, confirming the login request, and returning to the Outlook mail setup)
8. Choose Maybe later when asked if you would like to add another account
9. Tap Skip
10. Your email will load

Applies to: Android 6.4 or later

1. Tap the Gmail app.
2. Tap the menu icon in the upper left corner > Settings > Add account > Exchange and Office 365. *Important: Do NOT choose "Outlook, Hotmail, and Live" unless you want to sync email only and not calendar/contacts
3. Tap Next
4. Enter your UB email address (UBITName@buffalo.edu). If you see the message, "It looks like this email is used with more than one account from Microsoft," choose Work or school account
5. On the UB sign-in page, Enter your UBITName password
6. Tap Sign in
7. Provide Duo authentication
8. Tap Done
9. Your email will load

Applies to: Android 6.4 or later

1. Open the Outlook app
2. Tap Add Account.
3. Tap Add Account> in the lower right corner
4. Enter your @buffalo.edu email address and tap Continue>
5. On the UB-branded page, enter your UBIT password and tap Sign in
6. Complete Duo authentication
7. Tap maybe later
8. Tap Skip
9. Your email will load

1. Open native email app
2. Tap Settings gear
3. In account list, tap Add account
4. In setup email window tap Office365
5. Enter your UB email address (UBITName@buffalo.edu) at Microsoft page 
6. Tap next
7. Enter UBITName password at UB-branded page
8. Complete Duo authentication at prompt
9. Adjust email settings as needed
