Can my name be changed?

Yes.

Can I block unwanted phone calls (SPAM)?

No.  Blocking a call can only be done on the inbound caller ID.  In most cases, the offending party will frequently change their caller ID which circumvents this process.

But what if it's the same number that keeps calling me?

As simple as it sounds, answer the call and ask them to stop.  If you hear a fax tone, there is a good chance it's a misconfigured fax machine.  Perform a Google search to find which company owns the calling fax number and contact their main office to report the problem.

How can I learn about telephone technology for the visually or hearing impaired?
