To meet your business needs, a fixed open and closed schedule can be applied to your UB voicemail mailbox, or departmental mailbox.

Greeting Schedule plays different greetings depending on its schedule:

  • During open hours, your standard greeting is played.
  • During closed hours, callers hear the closed greeting, if configured, and can be informed that you are closed or offer an alternate contact.

Typical schedules include:

  • 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
  • 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Schedules can be updated on request with standard turnaround times to match your published university office hours. Schedules do not account for university holidays. For out-of-office or emergency closure scenarios, use the Alternate Greeting option, available for every UB Voicemail mailbox.
