Instructions
- Choose a phone or accessory by reviewing the options on this page.
- Go to the Request New Phone Services form (UBITName login required).
- Enter the requested information. If your phone is not listed, enter it into the Additional Information field.
- Add details of your request in the Additional Information field.
- Click Submit.

Available Phones and Accessories
Telephone equipment must be genuine, new Cisco products approved by Network and Communication Services. Equipment purchased from another source will not be used at the university. Telephone accessories, such as headsets, amplifiers, or handset lifters, are unavailable from UBIT and must be procured through departmental purchasing staff.

Optional Accessory for 6+ Lines - CISCO 8800 Expansion Module:
- For use with Advanced Business model phone only
- Attaches to the side of the phone
- Color display with backlight
- 14 vertically aligned buttons per page, 2 pages total for 28 additional keys
- Supports up to two expansion modules for 56 lines. Requires the purchase of an external power CUBE if using two expansion modules.
Cisco 8851 and Jabra 510:
Jabra Speak 510 Accessory:
- Bluetooth Class 1 device
- Pairs with Cisco 8851 phone
- Audio range up to 60 feet
- Best suited for small to medium size conference rooms
- Charges via USB, up to 15 hours of talk time on full charge
- Omni-directional microphone provides wideband audio
- Verified good audio quality from all areas of a 20’x20’ conference room
- Functions as a headset on the phone, that is, audio will come only from the Jabra device

Cisco 8832 Mic Kit (optional):
Jabra Speak 410 Accessory:
- USB UC Speakerphone
- Provides speakerphone capabilities to Cisco Jabber and other PC based Cisco applications
- Has call control buttons to answer and hang up
- Has buttons to adjust volume, ringer volume, and mute
Jabra Speak 510 Accessory:
- USB and Bluetooth UC Speakerphone
- Provides speakerphone capabilities to Cisco Jabber, and other PC based Cisco applications
- Also works with the Cisco IP Phone 8851 and Cisco IP Phone 8861 via Bluetooth
- Has call control, volume, and mute buttons as like the Jabra 410
Note: The sound and microphone quality are on par with the Cisco IP Phone 8800 series phones, and only the Bluetooth speaker or the built-in speaker can be used at any given time.
