Self Care Portal and Personal Communications Assistant

The Self Care Portal

What it's used for

  • Link your UB phone and cellphone
  • Set voicemail notification preferences
  • Set speed dials
  • Set forwarding

Logging in

  1. If you are off campus, connect to UBVPN
  2. Go to Self-Care Portal
  3. Enter:
    • Faculty and Staff: Your complete @buffalo.edu email address 
    • Graduate students and exception accounts: Your exception account user ID@itorg.ad.buffalo.edu (e.g., oss1.jdoe@itorg.ad.buffalo.edu)  
  4. Enter:
    • Faculty and Staff: Your UBITName Password 
    • Graduate students and exception accounts: Exception account password 
  5. Click Login.

The Personal Communications Assistant (PCA)

What it's used for

Logging in

  1. If you are off campus, connect to UBVPN
  2. Go to PCA
  3. Enter your complete @buffalo.edu email address and UBITName password
  4. Click Login.
