Steps to Approve Submissions in UB Jobs
Approvers in the UB Jobs system have the responsibility of reviewing and approving position descriptions, postings and hiring proposals. Learn how to take these actions.
- Click on Requests from the home page
- Click on the title of the position
- Review the position information
Information is Correct
- Choose the next level approver from the Take Action on Request menu
- Add comments if needed
- If you want to watch the position, verify the check box for Add this request to your watch list is selected
- Click Submit
Information is Incorrect
- Choose Return to Hiring Manager under the Take Action on Request Menu
- Enter a reason for return in the comments box
- If you want to watch the position, verify the check box for Add this request to your watch list is selected
- Click Submit
- Choose the position type under the Hiring Proposal tab
- Select View under the actions menu for the candidate you are reviewing
- View the posting information by clicking on the title in the hiring proposal header
Information is Correct

- Click Submit
