UB Employee Safe Return to Campus

UB employees are working tirelessly and collaboratively to keep our community safe and our operation running smoothly, while continuing to provide the best academic experience to our students in the safest way possible.

Employees are advised to check this page often for COVID-19 related protocols and practices that affect the UB workplace.

Returning to Campus?

To keep you and all our employees safe, UB is requiring that every employee verify that they are free of COVID-19 symptom each day before entering our campus.

Together, we are stopping the spread.

Social Distance. Wash Your Hands. Wear a Face Mask. Feel Sick? Stay Home.

Help our community stay safe and slow the spread of COVID-19. Make these 4 important behaviors part of your campus routine.

Social (Physical) Distancing

  • Practice social distancing from others.
  • Follow directional and spacing guidelines and instructions.

Wash Your Hands

  • Wash your hands frequently, or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your inner elbow.
  • Dispose of used tissues immediately and wash your hands.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Wear a Face Mask

  • A face covering must be worn at all times including outdoor spaces on UB’s campuses, to further reduce the risk of transmission as people travel from place to place.

Feel Sick? Stay Home

  • Do a CDC COVID-19 symptom self-check every day before leaving your home.
  • Stay home and contact your health care provider if you are sick or experiencing any symptoms.
