State — Essential Services only. CSEA employees required to work should receive either holiday pay or compensatory time off depending on their current election. UUP (Those eligible to observe holidays) and M/C Professional employees who work should receive compensatory time off.

6: Veteran's Day

State — Floating holiday for UUP (still under negotiation), and M/C Professional employees. President has scheduled the day after Thanksgiving for UUP employees (those eligible to observe holidays) to observe this “floating” holiday. Classified employees who work should receive either holiday pay or compensatory time off, depending on their current  election.
UBF — Holiday compensation determined by employee’s department.

1: Thanksgiving Day

State — Essential Services only. CSEA employees required to work should receive either holiday pay or compensatory time off depending on their current election. UUP (Those eligible to observe holidays) and M/C Professional employees who work should receive compensatory time off.
RF — Essential services only. Employees required to work on a holiday will receive holiday leave credit. Time off should be scheduled when convenient for the employee and supervisor
UBF — Holiday compensation determined by employee’s department.

7: Day After Thanksgiving
State — Not an official holiday; employees allowed to work if they choose. UUP and M/C Professional employees who do not work should charge this day to the designated Veteran’s Day floating holiday. All other employees who do not work should charge accruals as appropriate.
RF — Not an official holiday; employees allowed to work if they choose. Employees who do not work should charge this day to accruals as appropriate.
UBF — Holiday compensation determined by employee’s department.
