Lab Safety Training Request

This 1.5 hour class provides basic right-to-know training on hazardous chemicals and provides instructions on how to safety handle and package laboratory wastes.  All lab workers including but not limited to: research assistants, graduate assistants, post docs, visiting post docs, and undergraduate students MUST attend the training if they are performing any work in a laboratory environment. 

Instructions

If you are registering from a UB campus location:

  1. Click on the registration button below to sign up for a class. 
  2. First-time registrants will see a popup window that states "No Match Found. Please complete the registration form." Click OK and proceed to enter the information in the registration form. You only need to do this once.
  3. Choose the training session you wish to attend. 
  4. An email confirmation will be sent after we receive your request.

If you are registering from an off UB campus location:

  1. You must connect using a "virtual private network" (VPN) client. 
  2. Follow these instructions to use AnyConnect, UB's recommended VPN client to access this UB service. 
  3. Once connected via a VPN, proceed as shown above.

Please note that Zoom meeting invitations will be emailed to attendees one hour prior to the start of the training.  If for some reason you do not receive the information by that time, please email ehs@facilities.buffalo.edu.
