New to UB Student Staff
Make an impact on new students, develop your leadership skills and have fun assisting new students through their New to UB process as an Orientation Leader or a Welcome Weekend Leader.
By sharing your experience, advice and insight during a new student's transition, you can become a trusted mentor for students, and an invaluable resource for parents and families. These are paid positions, available through Orientation, Transition and Parent Programs. If you have questions about these positions, please contact Orientation and Transition.
Orientation Leaders work in June, July, and August to help facilitate First-Year Summer Orientation, Transfer Summer Orientation, International Welcome Weekend, and Welcome Weekend.

Welcome Weekend Leaders work in August to help facilitate Welcome Weekend and may support International Welcome Weekend.
