Be Your Best

A healthy lifestyle can help you get better grades, stay out of trouble, and enjoy all of your time at UB.

  • Sleep
    4/2/26
Getting enough sleep helps you learn faster, gives you more energy throughout the day and even boosts your immune health.
  • Eating Well
    4/2/26
As a busy college student, you want to eat well. With nutritious on-campus meals, cooking workshops and more, we’re here to help you feel your best.
  • Alcohol and Other Drug Safety and Awareness
    12/29/25
It’s up to you to decide whether you want to use alcohol and other drugs — and if so, we’re here to help you and your friends reduce risk.
  • Sexual and Reproductive Health
    9/2/26
If you are sexually active or thinking of becoming sexually active, we’re here to provide you with the support and resources you need to navigate your sexual and reproductive health. Your health and privacy are our top priorities. We offer confidential, accessible, and non-judgmental care tailored to the unique needs of college students.
  • Quit Smoking
    4/10/25
Whether you smoke or vape, quitting isn’t easy. UB has resources to help you quit so you can feel better and save money.
  • Personal Health Kit
    5/17/22
Whether you’re living on-campus or off-campus, it’s a good idea to have a personal health kit filled with things you might need in case you’re not feeling well. Pack a kit before your first semester — then check it at the beginning of each semester — and you’ll save time and money if you get sick later.
