Crime Reporting

If you know about a crime or any suspicious activity, please report it as soon as possible. Telling an authority about crimes and suspicious activity helps keep you and other members of the UB community safer.

Campus Reporting

  • Emergency Response
    8/11/20
University Police are the first to respond to all medical, fire and criminal emergencies in the campus community.
  • Reporting
    5/5/17
Data collection and reporting assures UB and the state that your security needs are being met or exceeded. For you as a member of the community, UB provides ways for you to report problems. UB, in return, responds to your reports and uses the data to enhance your university experience.
Campus Residents

If you live on campus, you can also report a crime or suspicious activity to your Resident Advisor (RA) or Community Assistant (CA).

Off Campus Reporting

Off campus residents should contact their local law enforcement agency.
