If you have been the victim of a bias-related incident — or you know of an incident that has occurred — we encourage you to take the appropriate steps. 

Report a Bias-Related Confrontation or Incident

UB is committed to a safe and inclusive environment. As such, UB has specific guidelines and procedures in place to respond to bias-related confrontations and incidents. Bias-related incidents are prompted by intolerant behaviors and illegal discrimination based on issues of:

  • Race
  • Color
  • National origin
  • Sex
  • Religion
  • Age
  • Disability
  • Gender
  • Pregnancy
  • Gender identity
  • Gender expression
  • Sexual orientation
  • Predisposing genetic characteristics
  • Marital status
  • Familial status
  • Veteran status
  • Military status
  • Domestic violence victim status
  • Ex-offender status

You are encouraged to report all types of bias-related incidents precipitated by intolerant behaviors.
