Gain confidence. Build interpersonal skills. Get resume-worthy experience. Discover how you can make a positive, lasting change as a leader.
The Student Engagement office offers two opportunities designed to help students get resume-worthy experience to build skills and competencies that students can apply in their courses and future careers.
Our Developmental Experiences Micro-Credential provides participants with meaningful and intentional student professional development opportunities that are offered through Student Engagement. You will have the opportunity to earn multiple digital badges while gaining leadership skills, expanding your career readiness, and learning to be an advocate within our campus community and the WNY community at large.
Our Community & Civic Engagement Certificate will help students become active citizens working toward positive social change in our ever-changing world. Through various educational opportunities, students will develop a strong foundation of knowledge that will prepare them to be leaders in our local, national, and global communities.
Earn badges by participating in experiential learning opportunities while identifying career readiness competencies to prepare you for a transition into the workforce upon graduation.
Students who earn all three badges can earn the Achievement badge, which recognizes completion of the full program.
