Campus Resources Scavenger Hunt

On Wednesday, August 23 between 12:00 – 5:00 p.m., visit at least five of the locations listed below to familiarize yourself with important North Campus offices and the resources or services you'll find there. 

How to complete the scavenger hunt + get a UB prize

  • At each location, find the 'Campus Resources Scavenger Hunt' poster with a unique QR code.
  • Follow the instructions on each location's sign. You will take a selfie (picture of yourself) next to the sign for each location you visit.
  • Once you've visited at least five (5) locations, bring all of your selfies back to any of the 'Ask Orientation Staff' tables listed in your printed guide from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. to claim your free prize. 

We encourage you to visit all eight (8) locations!

9 Campus Resources Scavenger Hunt Locations

(1) Career Design Center

UB students joined representatives from the university's "Fast 46" companies at a breakfast networking event presented by University Advancement and the Career Design Center in September 2022. (2) Center for Excellence in Writing (CEW)

(3) Health Promotion

Health Promotion, part of student life, hosts a Chill Out event in April 2022 at the Student Union. The event featured tables aiming to teach students to learn healthy ways to manage stress. Photographer: Meredith Forrest Kulwicki.

(4) Intercultural and Diversity Center (IDC)

The Intercultural and Diversity Center offered students the opportunity to learn about and try sand painting in November 2022, as part of Native American Heritage Month. Photographer: Douglas Levere.

(5) International Student Services (ISS)

(6) Parking & Transportation

(7) Student Engagement

(8) Tutoring and Academic Support Services (TASS)
