Effective Fall 2024, UB will discontinue the domestic health insurance plan offered by the university to our students. Additionally, we will no longer mandate health insurance for domestic students attending the University at Buffalo.

Open enrollment is available until the deadline regardless of your coverage history. You can also enroll any time throughout the year with no gap in coverage from your previous plan if you have a life-changing event; please read this page carefully for more details.
Part-time domestic students do not need health insurance coverage. However, you may choose to enroll if you meet the requirements.
