Who Can Make an Appointment

Currently registered UB students can use Student Health Services regardless of the type of health insurance plan they have. Note: Students in fully-remote programs are not assessed the health fee and therefore are not eligible to utilize Student Health Services.

For Students Under 18

New York State law requires the consent of a parent/guardian for medical care (reproductive and sexual health care excluded) of persons under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, your parent will need to give us written consent to treat you.

Costs

There is no cost to see any of the health care providers at Student Health Services (however, there may be a charge for immunizations, labwork and other services, depending on your health insurance).

Same-Day Appointments Available

If you are ill or injured, we often have same-day appointments available. Contact Student Health Services to make an appointment.
