Recognize October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month — and take a stand against dating violence — by wearing a purple bandana to support those affected by domestic violence.
In accordance with current health and safety guidelines, Walk With Me is not scheduled for Fall 2020. To find similar activities, check out the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response page.
You can walk as an individual or as a team, and increase your impact by collecting items for a local domestic violence shelter, decorating your space purple (the official color of Domestic Violence Awareness Month), and posting signs to help show support for domestic violence survivors. This event is held annually in October; details (including where to get your free purple bandana) will be posted on the UB Events Calendar when available.
You do not need to register in advance to attend.
