Ready, Set, Buffalo!
Embark on a transformative journey of service and self-discovery before your college classes begin, as you engage in an immersive community service experience alongside fellow students who share your passion for making a positive impact.
Ready, Set, Buffalo program participants complete community service at local nonprofit agencies and explore Buffalo through sightseeing activities. Participants will also have the opportunity to develop relationships with their service-oriented peers, Student Engagement staff, and members of the Buffalo community, all before the first day of classes!

Our Ready, Set, Buffalo program is for first-year students and transfer students who are new to UB. Space is often limited for this exclusive program, but applications are reviewed on a rolling basis each year. Phone interviews will be offered to students who move forward in the application process.
