Monthly automatic RF reports help with grants

Effective late summer 2016 - To help investigators manage their grant finances and personnel, the Research Foundation will be sending automatic monthly alerts to UB PI’s with active sponsored awards.

These reports and alerts are for all UB investigators with active sponsored awards through the SUNY Research Foundation.
Once the system launches, PIs will receive the applicable reports automatically and when appropriate. There are four reports overall:
- Employees terminating on a grant in the next 45 days
- New person assigned on a grant in the last 30 days
- Awards terming in the next 90 days
- Projects terming in the next 90 days
The automatic alerts will go out the first Tuesday of each month.
All UB researchers are entered into the system automatically and will start getting the reports when he/she receives a new award. Current active awards will be rolled into the system with PIs starting to receive the reports in August.
PI’s can assign a delegate to receive these alerts; however it should be noted that delegates are per PI, not per award. Additionally, if you do not want to receive these alerts at all, you can opt-out.
