Class Schedule Maintenance

The Class Schedule Maintenance tool helps with mass updates of sections within HUB, including changing class status, enrollment capacities, waitlist capacities and instruction mode for more than one section at a time.

1. Select the “Class Scheduling” tile.

2. Select “Class Schedule Maintenance” from the Class Scheduling sub navigation menu.

3. Search for your Run Control ID or create a new one.

  • If you have used this screen before, search for the Run Control ID you used by clicking on “Search.”
  • If you have never used this screen before:
    • Create a new Run Control ID by clicking on the “Add a New Value” button. 
    • This run control can be used repeatedly and is unique to each user. 
    • Name the run control something easy to remember (ex: ENG105_Class_Enrollment). Please note: when creating run controls, spaces are not allowed and underscores must be used. 
    • Click ”Add a New Value.”

4. Enter the search criteria and click on “Search” to populate the class information.

Click on “Clear Search” and “Grid” to clear search parameters.

5. Review the results and update as necessary.

The search results will display all Class Sections that meet the indicated search criteria and populate the Class Sections grid. Check the “Update” box next to the class sections you wish to update. Change the available field options to the appropriate values.

6. Finalize the changes by clicking “Run.”

7. Validate results by returning to the run control and executing a search once more to refresh the information.
