Cookies & Chat GPT
Join us for cookies as we cover the topic of “When to Bring your Chat Buddy to Class?” This workshop will discuss the ways students can use AI for academic work and caution when NOT to use AI. The Innovative Pedagogy and Creative Spaces Librarian from UB Libraries will demonstrate various tools for generating text, images, and analyzing data.

Scones & Learning Styles
Join TASS (Tutoring & Academic Support Services) and ISS to uncover the different learning styles, reveal which one most relates to you and how to leverage this information to increase your academic success through this interactive and informative workshop. Cupcakes & Academic Integrity (GenAI and Writing)
Join us for cupcakes as we cover the topic of Gen AI and Writing and ask What’s Your Stance? Are you a GenAI enthusiast? A critical engager? A refuser? This workshop will articulate the different stances that are emerging around the use of GenAI as a tool in the writing process and help you to think about how to navigate your approach to GenAI while upholding course policies and academic integrity guidelines. The goal? You develop and succeed!

As you assimilate to the University at Buffalo and its American educational standards, you may neglect your well-being without even realizing it. Join Vivian Jimenez, Director of TASS (Tutoring & Academic Support Services), and Olga Crombie, ISS International Student Advisor, who manages the ISS Academic Success Workshops, in this workshop will help you find balance between the academic rigors of an American university and your mental and physical health to help you have the best holistic experience possible while at UB.
