Curricular Practical Training (CPT)

F-1 students who are interested in working off campus to fulfill internship requirements in their major field of study should attend this session to learn about Curricular Practical Training (CPT) eligibility requirements and the CPT application process.  Registration is required.

Optional Practical Training (OPT)

Are you an F-1 student who is planning to work off-campus after finishing your degree requirements?  Optional Practical Training (OPT) authorization is required for F-1 students to work in the U.S. after graduation/completion of their degree program requirements.

ISS now has an OPT workshop series! The videos are required viewing for any student requesting an OPT I-20 however students are welcome to watch the videos at any time.

OPT Extension: STEM and Cap Gap

Attend this information session to learn about the 24 Month OPT STEM Extension and Cap Gap OPT periods. Registration is required.
