International Student Inclusion and Engagement Programming Sponsorship

The International Student Inclusion and Engagement Programming Sponsorship supports UB student clubs and organizations in hosting events, workshops, and activities that promote inclusion and belonging for international students.

Sponsorship Overview

International students are an essential part of UB’s vibrant community, bringing diverse perspectives, experiences, and cultures that enrich learning and campus life for everyone. This sponsorship supports UB’s commitment to fostering an environment where international students can study, connect, and thrive.

The ISS International Student Inclusion and Engagement Programming Sponsorship provides financial support to UB student clubs and organizations, and UB departments and units that design and host events, activities, workshops, or initiatives promoting inclusion and belonging of international students at the University at Buffalo.

UB student clubs and organizations may request up to $300 in funding support to bring their creative ideas to life. 

Through this initiative, we aim to: 

  • Encourage programming that celebrates and embraces cultural diversity while fostering a sense of belonging for international students. 
  • Create opportunities for students to engage across cultures, build intercultural understanding, and strengthen community connections. 
  • Empower UB students clubs and organizations, and other UB entities to lead efforts that advance international student inclusion and community building. 

Sponsorship Details

  • Sponsorship requests must be submitted at least 15 days before the date of the program or event for which sponsorship is being requested.
  • You may request up to $300 in sponsorship support per program or event.
  • All funding requests for food or related products must be for UB student-oriented programs/events only.
  • Partial funding amounts may be awarded to sponsorship recipients. 
  • Sponsorship decisions will be made on an ongoing basis.  
  • Sponsorship amounts will be based on the funds available at the time of your sponsorship request.
  • Student club and organization contributions to the program/event are encouraged but not required.
Sponsorship Application Submission Deadline

The deadline to request Fall 2025 program sponsorship is on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 12:00 pm.
