If you sign-in to your personal Adobe account with your UBmail address, you’ll need to update that Adobe account with a non-UB email address by April 25.
UB Information Technology is working with the SUNY Information Technology Exchange Center (ITEC) to join the SUNY-wide Adobe contract, giving everyone with an @buffalo.edu email access to UB-licensed Adobe products.
By joining SUNY’s agreement, UB’s campus community will enjoy significant savings on Adobe products and new features for students, faculty and staff with their UB account.
UBIT has step-by-step instructions available on our website to change your email address for your personal Adobe account.
Adobe Express is now available for all students, faculty and staff at UB. Adobe Express is a powerful content creation tool for web, video and print, all done in your web browser.
Adobe Acrobat Pro is now available for all UB faculty. Adobe Acrobat Pro allows you to create, edit, convert and securely share PDF documents, offering advanced tools like OCR, form creation, e‑signatures and document comparison.
The entire Adobe Creative Cloud professional suite including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects and more are available at the iMac stations in the Silverman, Lockwood and Abbott Libraries.
Additional Adobe discounts for UB students, faculty and staff will be available soon.
Faculty can get help by contacting their departmental IT support team. Students, faculty and staff can also contact the UBIT Help Center at (716) 645-3542, email ubithelp@buffalo.edu or submit a ticket at buffalo.edu/ubit/help. The UB Tech Squad is also available to meet students on North or South Campus free for technology assistance.
UB Information Technology News keeps UB students, faculty, and staff informed about their IT services and showcases creative collaborations between UBIT and the campus community. Published by UB Information Technoloogy and distributed via email as The Monthly Download. Edited by Diana Tuorto, IT Communication and Engagement, dianatuo@buffalo.edu.
