You may choose to install the following apps on your personal computer:
Word - Format text, insert images and tables, and lay out documents. Word help & learning
Excel - Organize and manipulate data in spreadsheets with sorting, calculations, graphing tools, pivot tables, and macros. Excel help & learning
PowerPoint - Create presentations with images, videos, animation, and formatted text with templates or custom slide themes. PowerPoint help & learning
OneNote - Host notes, drawings, screen clippings and audio commentaries and collaborate with others. OneNote help & learning
Outlook - Manage your UBmail and use powerful calendaring features. Outlook help & learning
Teams - Chat, start video meetings and share files. Teams help & learning
ToDo - An intelligent to-do list that helps you manage all your tasks in one place. Requires Exchange Online. ToDo help & learning
OneDrive for Business - Enjoy cloud storage across your devices. OneDrive help & learning
Publisher (PC only) - Create everything from simple labels to professional newsletters and marketing materials. Publisher help & learning
Access (PC only) - Access is an easy-to-use tool for quickly creating customizable database applications. Access help & learning
Through portal.office.com, you can use Word, Excel and many others from any computer!*
*Most of these apps are provided for self-exploration. The UBIT Help Center can provide basic support for: Outlook /Calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive and OneNote.

In your Outlook client, go to Settings > Options and uncheck Add online meeting to all meetings.
UB has no current plans to retire Zoom and will continue to offer it for UB students, faculty and staff for the foreseeable future.
Yes. Documents that you have created belong fully to you. You can choose to store them online on OneDrive or locally on your PC or Mac.

Microsoft Project can be used to view Project files only. It cannot be used to create or edit Project files.
