Buffalo startup Offerwell raises funds on way to Rochester, Syracuse

As reported by Buffalo Inno, Offerwell—a Cultivator graduate that has created an online real estate platform to help agents submit, accept and manage offers—is raising pre-seed funding as it prepares to ramp up sales and marketing.

Offerwell's founders expect to close a $500,000 pre-seed round by end of October, which will help the Buffalo-based startup continue to develop user products and experiences as they prepare to enter the Rochester market by year-end and the Syracuse market after that.

According to the article, investors include the University at Buffalo through its Cultivator program; Dan Magnuszewski, co-founder of ACV Auctions; and Mark Longo, president and CEO of Block Longo LaMarca & Brzezinski PC a Buffalo real estate law firm.

Since launching in May 2023, the startup has gotten hundreds of real estate agents in Western New York on its platform, with hundreds of listings set up on the platform.
