UBIT has identified an increase in reports of Wi-Fi and other UB network connectivity problems across campus. Help us fix these problems by reporting them directly.

UBIT has implemented configuration changes aimed at improving stability and overall network performance. Work is ongoing with our network vendor to identify and implement a permanent solution.

Having trouble connecting?

If you’re experiencing problems connecting to or staying connected to eduroam or other UB networks, please report the problem to the UBIT Help Center.

To help us investigate and resolve problems more quickly, include the following details in your report:

  • Operating system
  • Location (as specific as possible, within a few feet)
  • Network you’re connected to (eduroam Wi-Fi for most devices)

Timely reporting helps UBIT pinpoint root causes and improve the Wi-Fi experience across campus.

Need help?

The UBIT Help Center is here to help with your technology needs at UB. Students can also reach out to the UB Tech Squad for help; they can meet you anywhere on North or South Campus.
