Bookings with me is a new feature built into Outlook-based UBmail calendars. From office hours to special events, Bookings fills the same need as apps like Calendly while providing better security and integration at UB.

Bookings with me allows you to create and share custom meeting types so others can schedule time with you based on your availability and preferences. Bookings with me is ideal for:

  • Scheduling interviews with external candidates
  • Setting up customer and client meetings
  • Scheduling tech support
  • Setting up office hours
  • Setting up mentoring hours
  • 1:1 meetings with direct reports

Read on, or visit our Microsoft 365 guides, to find out how to set up and use Bookings with me.

Setting up Bookings with me

Specify the details of your Bookings with me meetings from your personal Bookings page.

To begin creating meetings with Bookings with me, go to Outlook on the Web on a laptop or desktop computer and click the Calendar icon on the left-hand side. If you don’t see the monthly calendar to the left, click the "hamburger" icon (three horizontal lines) at the top of the screen to expand the left panel. Below the monthly calendar, click Create bookings page.

On the bookings page, you’ll be able to create two different types of meetings: public and private. Private meetings are available to anyone with whom you share the link, while public meetings can be found at your bookings page and scheduled by anyone.
