Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program

Launch your career in STEM, the licensed or health-related professions.

The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) empowers talented undergraduates to lead, discover and succeed. Our scholarly community of students, alumni mentors and faculty work hand-in-hand to to broaden the participation of students in science, technology, math, engineering (STEM) and the licensed professions (i.e medicine, law, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, psychology, counseling, social work, architecture, OT/PT).

CSTEP supports UB’s future doctors, engineers, pharmacists, lawyers and other licensed professionals by providing the key preparation, resources and opportunities critical to their success, fostering students' exemplary achievement every step of the way.

CSTEP is a grant-funded program sponsored by the New York State Department of Education, established in 1987.
