The McNair Scholars Program provides specialized programming exclusively for McNair Scholars, as well as events open to the wider community. Our signature events include:

• The Undergraduate Research Conference and the Graduate School Opportunities Fair.
• Credit-bearing weekly seminar courses focused on professional development and academic enrichment. Specifically, McNair scholars embark on a simulated graduate school experience that includes (but is not limited to) work on personal resumes, CVs, portfolios, research writing and so much more!
• Fully funded travel to multiple national McNair Research Conferences around the U.S.
• TRIO Day and TRIO Graduation Ceremonies.
• Soft Skills and Professional Networking Days.
• McNair Celebration of Research at the UB Celebration of Academic Excellence.
