Happy New Year! As we enter 2024, we are thrilled to kick off our discovery sessions with Huron, our implementation partner. The primary focus of these sessions is to ensure a thorough understanding of UB’s needs to enhance the functionality of the UPlan system.

Flags on New York State government buildings will be at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Thursday, December 7, in observation of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

In preparation for implementing the UPlan system on our campus, we have had extensive meetings with our implementation partner, Huron, to ensure that the University at Buffalo is prepared. This past month, we have finalized the Statement of Work to confirm it will meet the needs of UB.

Agreements regarding carryover of vacation accruals, which commenced in 2020 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic will expire on December 31, 2023.

Kimberly "Kim" Beaty has been appointed as the new chief of University Police after a nationwide search. She will begin her new role on November 16th.
