Brief narratives that tell the story of how UB faculty, staff and students make a difference locally and globally are the primary approach that University Communications is using to support the Reaching Others brand.
University Communications has created and is expanding a Web site that highlights Reaching Others narratives. They include six developed in conjunction with a television advertising campaign in conjunction with the launch of Reaching Others and six that feature audio clips and were developed as part of a local radio campaign. The College of Arts and Sciences and UB’s 11 graduate and professional schools all are represented in the story bank. Web spotlight modules linking to the narratives are featured on the University at Buffalo home page, as well as on major pages within the university’s Web site, including YourUB.
