Working with the News Media
UB’s media relations team focuses on increasing UB’s reputation as one of the nation’s premier public research universities by building relationships with prominent international, national, regional and local media. We work closely with UB faculty and administrators to produce news releases, short videos and news commentary that describe UB’s groundbreaking research and academic excellence, and which highlight the expertise of UB faculty.
Our work each year produces dozens of stories about UB research/initiatives and quotations from UB faculty experts in such influential media as NPR’s Morning Edition, The New York Times, CBS Evening News, Wall Street Journal and WebMD.
Faculty and staff who wish to receive a daily email summary of news stories in which UB is featured should sign up to receive “UB in the News.” Go to the “UB in the News" listserv to add your email address.
