My print quota isn’t showing up. Who should I talk to for help?

My UB Card does not work when I swipe it at the kiosk, or my card is lost or damaged. What should I do?

  1. Log in to the kiosk manually with [YourUBITName] to verify your print job uploaded successfully
  2. Contact the UB Card office for replacement

I’m a UB employee (faculty or staff), do I get a quota for printing?

No, the UB Quota for printing is only for students, funded by the student technology fee. But faculty and staff can print on UB Print Anywhere using Campus Cash.

I am a UB visitor, can I print?

Sorry, no.

How long does my print job stay in the system?

Six days. Documents already printed can be recovered and printed again using an option in the print station menu.

What file types are supported from my USB drive?

All Microsoft Office file types, .jpg, .png, and .pdf are supported.

What kind of USB drives are compatible?


Is there a file size limit for printing?

There is no file size limit for laptop and desktop uploads. USB drives, web, and mobile uploads have a file size limit of 20 MB.

Can I cancel my print job once it has started?

After selecting the payment option, the print job will begin printing. For documents over 10 pages, a ‘cancel’ button is provided to stop the print job. An automatic refund will occur and you will only be charged for pages that were printed. A window will appear after canceling the print job stating the amount charged for the number of pages printed.

If a print job is LESS than 10 pages, it cannot be canceled.

What if my document is only partially printed?

If only part of your document prints, we'll print the remaining pages next time. You can print the whole thing, too. Tap (partial) to change to printing the entire document.

What file types can I print from my mobile device?

The following types are supported on iOS and Android devices: .pdf, .rtf and all Microsoft Office file types.

Can I change printing options after I submit my job?

In most cases, you can adjust document options at the print station. Tap the settings wheel to proceed.

If there is a paper jam, will I be charged?

No, the system only charges you for the pages that printed successfully.

What should I do if my job does not print properly?

You should contact Wepa by clicking the "Live Chat" button, or calling at 1-800-675-7639. Wepa support hours are from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
