Associate Vice President, Research Initiatives

Noyes served as the Associate Dean for Translational and Team Science at UB School of Public Health and Health Professions. Prior to this role, she also served as Professor and Director of the Division of Health Services Policy and Practice, Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health in the School of Public Health and Health Professions, Director of Surgical Outcomes and Research (UB SOAR) for UB Department of Surgery, and Adjunct Professor of Cancer Control at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Additionally, Noyes led Team Science and Workforce development Cores at UB Clinical and Translational Science Institute.

Noyes has a broad background in health services research, with expertise in health outcomes and quality of care assessment, large administrative data analytics and economic evaluations, as well as mixed methods, team science and implementation research in healthcare. She specialized in multidisciplinary intervention development and health disparities and have successfully led and participated in numerous teams on a variety of projects related to cancer and other chronic conditions supported by federal and private sources including the National Institute of Health (NIH), Agency for Health Research and Equity (AHRQ) and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), among others. Noyes also served as a mentor and graduate advisor to numerous research trainees and contributes to several research training grants.
