UB last week held its first Alternative Spring Break program focused on LGBTQIA+ history and rights. Organized by Student Engagement’s Community & Civic Engagement team with support from the Intercultural & Diversity Center, the program offered 10 students and two staff members five days of service and learning with both on and off campus partners., inclduing leaders from UB’s Queer Archives, Christopher Street Tours and the Buffalo Niagara LGBTQ History Project.
