How long have you worked at UB?

Print

Five months.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The people I work with throughout UB. I've never worked with such generous, friendly and knowledgeable people.

What's the most difficult part about your job?

It can be a challenge to accommodate all perspectives when I design and create marketing materials.

What would you say is your biggest achievement at UB?

In the short five months I've been here, I've already created so many marketing materials for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences to help promote events and programs, and communicate their message.

Tell us something about your department that isn't well known.

We just moved offices—from 117 Bell to 118 Bell—and we have an all new office suite that we love.

If you were to share some advice for other professional staff, what would it be?

Always be open-minded and willing to communicate—you can move mountains with that mindset.

Do you have any hobbies? What do you do for fun?

I own a wedding and event design company as my side-gig. I love designing and being a part of those events.

Do you have a favorite meal you like to prepare?

I love homemade tacos and I make them a lot!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I would travel all of Europe.

Any other fun facts about you?

I went to the Bahamas last year and went snorkeling even though I am terrified of the ocean!
