Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday celebrated Nov. 1-2 that honors and commemorates the lives of those who have passed on and welcomes the return of their spirits. UB's Latino Medical Student Association marked the day by creating an ofrenda — an altar with offerings for those who are being remembered — in the atrium of the Jacobs School and inviting the community to share in remembering their departed loved ones.
