The Task Force on Generative AI in Teaching and Learning at UB will provide recommendations for the use of generative AI at UB on May 14th in Davis 101. Following the report, an expert panel will offer a discussion on AI for the good for society.

This forum is a follow-up to the April 30th AI at UB Forum, which featured presentations by the task force committees and AI seed grant winners. 

UB has been a leader in AI research since the 1990s and now has over 200 faculty working on AI projects. Here’s what you can expect at the May 14th AI at UB Forum.

Tuesday, May 14 2:45 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at 101 Davis Hall

  • 2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. – Members of the Task Force on Generative AI in Teaching and Learning at UB will present a readout of major AI recommendations for the university.

  • 3:45 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. - A panel discussion with university experts on AI for the good of society.
